COVID-19 Regulations when traveling to Namibia



When traveling to Namibia, remember:

  • Visitors entering Namibia are required to present a 7-days negative PCR or Antigen Rapid Diagnostic test on arrival in English (from the time sample was taken). This requirement also applies to anyone who has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Returning Namibian citizens, holders of a Namibian permanent residence permit and holders of Namibian employment permits may enter without a PCR / Antigen Rapid Diagnostic test.
  • Point of entry remains Hosea Kutako International Airport and all major land and sea borders.
  • A health questionnaire and surveillance form must be completed upon entry.
  • Before traveling, it is recommended that you ensure your travel insurance includes COVID-19 treatment.
  • Airlines flying into / out of Namibia include Ethiopian Airlines and Eurowings.
  • A face mask must be worn to cover the nose and mouth when in a public place.
  • Curfew hours are between 22:00 and 04:00.
